Post Sale Update: sold for the BIN of $4,500 after 39 bids on eBay in Greenville, Rhode Island.

In 1983, Yamaha introduced the IT490, an evolution of the 465 and the biggest of the “International Trial” line. It was a heavy, powerful bike that was ideal for enduro or cross-country riding, though they had a nasty habit of pinging when the engine got hot.

This example is said to have underwent a full restoration with a “fresh engine”, rebuilt wheels, rebuilt shock, and a whole bunch of new parts. The tank is a new aftermarket Clark unit with OEM decals and it’s never had fuel in it. It does not come with a title, and it only has a couple of miles on it since the rebuild.

Find this IT for sale in Greenville, Rhode Island with a BIN of $4,500 here on eBay.
