Post Sale Update: This CB750 sold for $25,600 after 43 bids on eBay.

Restored by Andy Morris (someone who has worked on 15 sandcast CB750s and almost 50 later models), this CB was acquired by the seller in 2004 and it has just 756 miles since the work was completed. The restoration took three years and with the exception of the rear rim and fuel tank, all replacement parts were NOS designed specifically for the sandcast bikes.

The rear rim was refinished in lieu of being replaced and the tank is from a newer model because the original was lost and a correct replacement could not be found. Per the seller, the tanks looks the same from the exterior – the difference is in the base, which is “wrinkled.” With that said, a proper “wrinkle” tank has since been sourced and it will be included with the sale – it just needs to be painted. Keeping the OEM NOS theme going, the engine was rebuilt by Mark McGrew of M3 Racing.
