Post Sale Update: After being relisted, this TZ”250″ sold for $19,500 on eBay in San Juan Capistrano, California.

This interesting combination of features a TZ250 chassis and bodywork with a RD400 Daytona motor that’s been bored out. Impressively, it’s also titled in California. It’s lovely, and it weighs around 260 pounds.

This bike has a hell of a story, and I’d recommend that you pop over to the listing to get the whole scoop. But the short version is that it was being built by an electrician named Russell Comstock who unfortunately committed suicide, and the current owner decided to complete it “out of memory of Russell and his dream.”

The seller says, “I doubt any street bike could realistically keep up with this in the canyon twisties on a decline. You are the limit.” Bold words, but it would sure be fun to find out!
