Well Restored – 1968 Honda CD175 K1

In Japan, Standard by AbhiLeave a Comment

Most riders are familiar with Honda’s CB175 and CL175 – but bringing up the CD175 results in blank stares. Sold as a touring version of the 175 triplets, the CD was by all accounts a competent if slightly boring standard. With all that said, this is by far the nicest example I’ve ever seen, thanks to an impressive restoration job.

This bike (VIN: CD175 – 1021339) was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt with lots of NOS and rebuilt original Honda parts – the seller says very few aftermarket items were utilized (like the side cover emblems). The motor was rebuilt by Hap’s and everything looks great. This bike has 200 miles on it since the restoration was performed, and since then the bike has won several awards, including 1st at a VJMC (Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club)
