In 2014, Honda updated the CB1100 with a new dash and a six-speed transmission. The styling remained the same – bodywork that was designed to evoke the classic lines of the CB750. But a company in Japan called Whitehouse enabled owners to make their bikes look even more like the CB750 with a bodywork kit that included the tank, fenders, fork ears, headlight, side cover, seat, badging, and more. I think it’s a fantastic way to get old school looks with modern reliability.
I’ve featured a few of these on Bike-urious over the years, but today’s featured one is the first I’ve seen with a “newer” tank livery:

This example (VIN: JH2SC6515EK100103) has 11,905 miles and it’s been designed to look like a ’74 CB750. In addition to the Whitehouse kit, it features an Arrow exhaust, custom seat, and a rear rack. The paint sure looks good!
Considering the kit cost north of $5,500 when new (plus shipping from Japan), this price doesn’t seem too bad. Find this custom CB for sale in Concord, North Carolina for $7,899 or best offer here on eBay.
