I try not to feature bikes that are very similar to each other without some time in between, and I recently featured a silver 1979 CBX that had been completely restored. Here’s another beautiful CBX that comes from the opposite side of the spectrum – it’s all original and has been kept in amazing shape for 36 years…
This CBX (VIN: CB12014665) has just 1,482 miles and was bought with the intent of ‘preserving it as a piece of history’. That shows – I haven’t seen a nicer original one in a long time, if ever. During his ownership, the seller kept part of the shipping carton and rode the bike enough to prevent anything from going bad. 4 years ago he got worrie dsomething could happen to it on a ride so he put it away for storage. You’ll need to fix a sticking rear brake caliper, but this bike is otherwise in impressive shape.
