Post Listing Update: This got less action the second time around, with 21 bids up to $42,100 on eBay.
2-16-19 Update: Almost four years later, this UL is being sold again. It’s moved to Texas, and the new seller has better photos and more information. After the Ogar restoration, the bike was sold to Dale Walksler – the man behind the Wheels Through Time museum. The bike was on display for years until it was sold into a private collection. When I featured it for sale on eBay in 2015, it did not meet reserve with bidding up to $51,000.

Discovered in the early 90s in Iowa, this bike was restored by Adolph Ogar and then spent time in a notable collection. In 1995, Harley Davidson featured this bike in their calendar in the month of June.
Since the restoration, it hasn’t been used much and it’s been well preserved. As the seller notes, “it’s not perfect, but it’s awfully nice.” Find this Harley-Davidson UL Flathead for sale in West Plains, Missouri with bidding up to $51,000
