1972 OSSA Pioneer 250

Doesn’t that picture make you want to get dirty? Well, this OSSA Pioneer would be a great bike to get started with.

A 250cc enduro from the Spanish firm OSSA, the Pioneer was impressive enough that a Cycle World staffer was so impressed with the test bike he got for a review that he ended up buying his own. Cycle World called it “one of the ruggedest bikes made” and one that was “happiest in the boondocks.”

This example (VIN: M306584) has been with the seller for just a year, during which he rode less than a hundred miles. Instead, it seems he spent most of his time fixing this bike up, including installing piston rings, transmission seals, cleaning the carb, putting on Hagon shocks, new tires, wheel bearings, all kinds of cables – you get the idea. In addition, you’ll get a new FMF Turbinecore exhaust and the tank was Caswell sealed. It’s “not a showroom restoration but in really nice condition.” Find this Pioneer for sale in Traverse City, Michigan with bidding up to $1,700 and the reserve not yet met
