1976 Yamaha RD400

In Japan, Sport by Abhi3 Comments

This is a first year example of the big RD – an excellent example of a hooligan bike. The 399cc engine was an evolution of the powerplant from the RD350, and it was good for 44 horsepower and a top speed of about 105 miles per hour. Thanks to a repaint and some storage, this is one of the cleaner RD400s I’ve seen in a while.

Unfortunately because of the storage, this example is also going to need a carb clean. For your troubles, you’ll also get some spare parts and an original shop manual, and a motorcycle that Visordown called a Bike Icon, saying “Cool doesn’t even come close.”
