This weekend I was at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering and as part of the festivities, Honda brought out impressively clean examples of each generation of the Goldwing as part of a 40th anniversary celebration of the marque. Here’s a bike that would not have made it as part of the display, but I’d still be excited to throw a leg over it.
This bike (VIN: GL13008861) has quite an incredible gold paint job with House of Kolor candy/pearl paint – but the work wasn’t solely cosmetic. Lots of work has gone into the usual suspects (suspension/brakes/clutch/ignition), and there’s some custom pieces like the temp gauge in the tank, seat cover, and the digital speedometer.
