This 750 Sport is one of the rare reborn SuperSports that America didn’t get got for one year, per Dennis Martin in the comments (thanks, Dennis!). Here in the US, we think of the updated SS generation as the 900 model that debuted in 1991, but Ducati actually tried to bring it back in 1987 with the machine you see in front of you today. Depending on who you ask, less than 1,000 of these were built and sold worldwide.

The 748cc 4V V-Twin motor was good for about 72 horsepower and it was paired with Marzocchi suspension, 16″ Oscam wheels front and rear, Brembo brakes, 44mm Weber carb, and a five-speed transmission. For a nice retrospective road test, check out this story on Classic Two Wheels.

This example (VIN: ZDM1KA3J7LB752218) has 8,455 miles and it’s been with the seller since 1999. Recent maintenance includes a battery, oil change, valve adjustment, new fuel pump, and new chain/sprockets. It also features Race Tech fork springs, dual PHM 38mm Dell’Orto carbs, Fast by Ferracci exhaust – the seller says that “NOTHING sounds better than this bike” and includes the following video to back up his claim:
