Post-Listing Update: After 20 bids on eBay, this Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE Sport Classic did not meet reserve at $20,000.

Inspired by Ducati’s race bikes of the 70s, the Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE is a beautiful limited edition and one of the most desirable modern classics to ever come out of Ducati’s factory. Unfortunately, it seems that desirability has translated into a bike that seemed to appreciate in value from day one. You’ll have to pay to play for this one.

Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE - Right Side

Limited to a production run of just 2,000 bikes, this bike features a 992cc desmodromic twin engine that produced 92 horsepower. Cosmetically, it was styled to resemble the Ducati 750 Imola Desmo race bike, so it features the beautiful bubble style half fairing and the green frame. Rounding out the excellent factory specifications are Ohlins upside-down forks in the front and an Ohlins monoshock in the rear.

This specific Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE has less than 2,500 miles and is in great shape. The owner has put an incredible amount of money into extras, including our favorite exhaust for this bike, the Zard pipes, Marchesini wheels, SpeedyMoto sliders, and a beautiful NCR suede seat.
