2009 Harley-Davidson XR1200

In America, Sport by AbhiLeave a Comment

The odometer shows 9,200 miles, but you wouldn’t guess that based on the cosmetic condition of this beautiful XR1200 – one of the best bikes that Harley has made in the last 50 years.

For those in the know, the XR1200 was an unexpected joy from Milwaukee, the land of big twins and relaxed riding styles. Clearly drawing inspiration from the legendary XR750, Harley-Davidson released the XR1200 in Europe only at first, though US riders cried foul and the bike was quickly sold in the USA as well. Lots of people complained that the bike was only available in Europe, but not many actually got their checkbooks out once the bikes were available in American dealers. The model was discontinued after 2012 and it’s been a cult classic ever since.

This example comes with the stock windscreen, a tall windscreen, Avon comfort barrel grips surrounding Heat Demon heated units, Knight 1″ lower foot pegs, Progressive 970 rear shocks, OEM luggage rack, Corbin seat, RAM mount, and factory bungee bars/saddlebags. Maintenance-wise, you’ll get new Michelin PR4 tires, a recent gearbox oil and engine oil change, recent brake fluid flush, and a fork seal replacement in 2017.
