2010 Kris Krome Board Tracker

In America, Custom by AbhiLeave a Comment

Post Sale Update: This sold for $4,550 after 6 bids on eBay in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The styling isn’t really for me, however I’m using this bike as an excuse to share a product I rarely see in the wild: the Hawg Halter Sprotor (as in a combined Sprocket/Rotor):

That’s right – the sprocket double as the rotor, which makes it an expensive proposition for a bike that covers lots of miles, but for a show bike like this which has covered 1,500 mile since 2010, it’s not much of an issue. This custom was apparently built for the paint spray gun company SATA Jet, in 2010, and was then raffled off for charity in 2017.

The seller acquired the bike from the winner of the charity raffle – he notes that it currently has a yellow wrap but it’s painted black underneath. Everything is said to work but you’ll need a new battery and there’s some “surface rust on some bolts and such from storage.” The main components are a S&S 96ci engine with a 5-speed Baker tranny in a custom hardtail frame, plus 21″ wheels and a one-off front suspension designed by Kris Krome.
