This will be the second time in two months that I bring up Sonny Angel and his dealership, as they were responsible for the maintenance of this Commando for two and a half decades.
SFC750 Spec Race Replica – 1974 Laverda SF2
Post Listing Update: This SF2/SFC did not meet reserve with 13 bids up to $13,100. I love this bike, and the seller tells a great tale as he details his history with his SF2-turned-SFC750 replica. I highly recommend that you click on through to the listing just to see how obviously passionate he is about his Laverda.
1974 CZ 250 Enduro
In a period review, Motor Cycle News out of England called the CZ 250 Enduro “possibly one of the best trail bikes ever.” Most of CZ’s competition, especially the Japanese, built trail bikes by starting with street-oriented models. CZ started with their last-gen MX bike and used that as their platform instead. The result was excellent.

View PostVintage Folding Scooter – 1955 Argyle Cub
Designed to be stowed in your car, boat, or airplane, the Argyle Cub weighed about 50 pounds and could fold up in 15 seconds. Over time, the rights were sold to a manufacturer that sold the Cub to a variety of distributors who sold it under their own names like Argyle Cub, Dinky-Cycle or JoyRide. Whatever brand you bought, you …
No Reserve – 1989 Yamaha TDR250
Post Sale Update: After 30 bids on eBay, this TDR sold for $5,995. Ultimate Dual. That’s what Yamaha slapped onto the tank of the TDR250, and it was a unique descriptor for a unique bike. A retuned TZR250 two-stroke motor good for nearly 50 horsepower in a dual-sport frame was unlike anything available in the US at the time – …
Rare in the US – 1977 Honda CT125 Trail
In Australia, Honda sells a series of Agricultural bikes with features like front and rear racks, comfier seats, backup kickstarters, and even a clutch lock so you can leave your bike in gear and hop off to open a gate. Back in the 70s, Honda sold a farm version of the XL125 off-roader. It was called the CT125 Trail and …
300+ Horsepower – 2015 Kawasaki H2R
The “H2” model designation is one of the most legendary in Kawasaki’s history. So when they brought it back a couple of years ago for their halo sportbike, you knew it had to be something special. It was – but the non-street-legal H2R almost makes the new H2 seem pedestrian thanks to a supercharger and 310 horsepower. Here’s an example …
Factory Trials Bike – 1951 Norton 500T
Post Listing Update: Despite 45 bids up to $6,600, this 500T did not meet reserve. Don Morley called Norton’s 500T “the finest rigid trials machine to be produced by any factory.” This claim was supported by an ISDT Gold Medal in 1950, as well.
Go Anywhere – 2016 Husqvarna 701 Enduro
Thanks to $6,000+ in well-thought out upgrades, the seller calls this Husky the “ultimate lightweight ADV bike.” He may not be exaggerating.
60 Miles – 2004 Moto Guzzi MGS-01
I actually featured another MGS-01 from this seller in Italy last month, so at first I thought this was simply a relist. Nope, turns out they just have another one in inventory. This is #34, and it has just 60 miles.
Bumblebee – 1991 BMW R100GS
Post Listing Update: This R100GS was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown. The black and yellow livery of the R100GS earned it the affectionate name of “bumblebee.” Here’s a relatively low mileage example that needs a new owner to cover some distance with it.

View PostNo Reserve Reg Pridmore Race Replica – 1974 BMW R90S
Post Sale Update: After 27 bids on eBay, this replica sold for $15,037. In 1976, the AMA introduced the Superbike class, a new championship for production-based bikes. BMW’s American importer, Butler & Smith, sponsored the #83 of Steve McLaughlin and the #163 of Reg Pridmore to compete, and the latter surprised most motorcycling fans by winning the inaugural championship on …
