Post Listing Update: This R100GS was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.

The black and yellow livery of the R100GS earned it the affectionate name of “bumblebee.” Here’s a relatively low mileage example that needs a new owner to cover some distance with it.

34,007 examples of the R100GS were built, with the basic specifications of 60 horsepower, 455 pound dry weight, and a 112 mile per hour top speed. For more information on the this legendary generation of the GS, check out this article on Motorcycle Classics.

This example has 31,387 miles and is claimed to be well maintained. It features a Corbin seat (original included), OEM bags, dual PIAA lights, White Power rear shock, 450W Enduralast charging system, Motorrad Electric Beacon LED taillight, PIAA headlight bulb, and more. All work has been done by Max BMW, and a recent full service included all fluid changes, new fork seals, a valve check, and a carb “tune”, whatever that means.
