This Euro-spec bike has been around the world! The original owner bought it new in Zimbabwe, rode it around Africa, then brought it back home to Ireland.
While in Ireland, it was stored outside and developed some surface rust. The original owner then moved to Montana, which is where he sold it to the current owner.
The current owner of this example (VIN: 6333277) replaced some parts and added some upgrades – a new main seal, fork seals, Dyna coils, stainless steel crash bars and side stand, skid plate, oil cooler relocation kit, and a carb/tank clean. It’s also got the ‘peanut’ valve covers, but all original parts are included. The original hard cases are included with the sale, as are a new set of Wolfman soft bags. “I’m not the BMW guy who has three different toothbrushes to clean the cylinder fins, but I am a stickler for maintenance and have changed the oil and filter every 3000 miles and every spring.”
