Well, here’s something you won’t see every day – a John Deere themed motorcycle.
1971 Triumph Blazer T25SS
At first glance, I thought this bike was restored. Turns out it’s just in “exceptional” original condition – though the current seller did have it gone through mechanically. It’s in impressive shape, but is it worth over 6 grand?
Restored – 1969 Sachs K-125GS Boondocker
Introduced in 1968, the Sachs K-125GS (also known as the Boondocker) was designed to be a competitive turn key entrant for privateer off-road racers. Here’s an example that’s been restored and is nearly perfect – though the opening bid is over 6x the original MSRP of $600.

View PostRare in the US – 1991 Aprilia Tuareg 600 Wind
Post Sale Update: This Wind sold for the opening bid of $3,800. If you ask the average American about an Aprilia dual-sport, they’d either struggle to come up with anything (or they’d impress you by remembering the Caponord, though even Aprilia themselves only shows photos of the bike on pavement on that site). But years ago, they offered other countries …
Ending Soon – Ex-Ekins 1966 Triumph TR6C Desert Sled
If you believe the seller, this Triumph has got a very cool history. Apparently he used to own the property next door to Ekins’ last workshop in North Hollywood, and that’s when he acquired this bike from Bud.
1974 Honda CB360 Scrambler
This CB360 has been refurbished and converted into a semi-scrambler with just 185 miles on it since the work was done.
1948 Moto Guzzi Super Alce
Italian for ‘Moose’, the Alce was a Moto Guzzi built for the Italian Army between ’39 and ’45. This was a reliable mount that was eventually replaced by the Superalce (ha, Super Moose) and complemented by the Trialce, a three-wheeler. The Super Alce was produced between ’46 and’57. Apparently only 35 examples are known to exist in the US.
In Vietnam – 2000 Minsk Tracker
Reader Russ A has broadened my horizons thanks to this bike, my first feature from Vietnam.
Well Farkled – 2012 Honda NC700X
The Honda NC700X is marketed as a street-based tourer that can tackle the occasional fire road. Here’s an example that’s been modified to up the dirt factor significantly.

View Post$1,900 – 1975 Yamaha DT400
Adorned in the now-classic yellow/black paint scheme, the Yamaha DT400 was a favorite of the press when it was produced between ’75 and ’79. An evolution of the DT1 250 that created the concept of a reliable, relatively cheap dual-sport, the DT400 ended up not being a huge sales success as two-strokes got phased out and the XT/TT 500s took …
Cagiva Elefant 650
These Italian dual sports are rare bikes nowadays but we’ve seen a few for sale in the last couple of weeks. Here’s an example that looks pretty good but the listing is very sparse on information.

View Post1976 Montesa VB360
Claimed to be just one of 400 VB360s that were ever built, this numbers matching bike has received plenty of recent work so that it’s ready to ride or race right now.
