Post Sale Update: After 10 bids on eBay, this CB350F sold for $3,650. If you’re into classic Japanese iron and you have a thing for low serial numbers, here’s a bike for you – a Honda CB350F that was the 126th ever made.
1966 Bultaco Campera
I thought I knew a good amount about bikes until I started this site – here’s yet another model I’ve never heard of, the Bultaco Campera. The Campera was a dual sport (complete with a cool scrambler-style exhaust) offered in varying displacements – this is a 175cc example of the first generation.
1982 BMW R100/7
Between 2010-2012, this BMW R100/7 had a tremendous amount of work done to turn it into a beautiful example of the breed. The seller gets into a long list of work, but here are the highlights: brand new paint with an aftermarket “S” fairing and European handlebars. Everything works, there’s no leaks – and the paint is so good it’s …
1953 Vincent Comet Series C
A single-cylinder evolution of the famous Rapide, the Vincent Comet was one of four models using the 499cc single engine. This is one of the Series C bikes, the final evolution of the breed. There was apparently one Series D bike built but it never made it to production.
Tiny Racer – 1989 Yamaha YSR50
The Yamaha YSR50 was the most common of the rare 50cc sportbikes that came from Japan in the late 80s and early 90s. An instant classic, the YSR50 was always street legal, but is now primarily used in spec racing. This is one of the nicer examples I’ve seen – most are usually scratched up or rocking replacement body panels.
Rebuilt Commando – 1975 Norton Commando 850
Here’s a beautiful Norton Commando 850 that was restored by Classic Bike Experience in 2012, and then repainted by Vintage Vendor into the bike you see in front of you. It has 16,975 miles on it, though under 200 were put on post-rebuild. The seller includes an invoice of the money put in – it wasn’t cheap: Find this numbers-matching …
1945 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead with Sidecar
Here’s a lovely Knucklehead rig with a ’45 bike and a ’40 sidecar. It was restored 15 years ago and has given the seller over 20,000 miles of trouble free service. It’s been converted to 12 volts and has some repro parts including the rear fender, tail light, speedo, and more. It has a four speed transmission and the bike …
1947 Indian Chief
This Indian Chief is offered for sale with less than 1,000 miles since a full restoration by noted Indian shop Yellow Spear Restorations – restorers of fantastic bikes like this Big Base Racer. It’s been given a larger transmission sprocket for better highway manners, and it’s claimed to be ready to go. It’s a numbers matching bike that looks lovely …
Reader Ride – 1974 Ducati 750SS Green Frame
Post-Sale Update: Bike has sold. I finally featured my first Green Frame on Bike-urious just a few days ago, but it almost immediately was taken off Craigslist. Thanks to reader Sebastien L., I can now feature a beautiful example of this legendary bike – but this time I can ensure the listing stays up for more than a couple of …
1974 Kawasaki Big Horn Flat Tracker
The Kawasaki Big Horn, also known as the F-9, was Kawasaki’s response to the Yamaha RT-360. Here’s an example with a Woody Kyle built motor that’s been turned into a flat tracker. The base Big Horn featured a 346cc two-stroke single good for 28 horsepower. It had a five speed gearbox and one of the earlier implementations of capacitive discharge …
1946 Dnepr M-72 with Sidecar
Post Listing Update: This hack was pulled off of eBay because of “an error in the listing.” A Russian-made military bike, the “Dnepr” M-72 was used by the Red Army and was built to be a copy of the BMW R71.
1984 Moto Morini 350 K2
Post Sale Update: After 33 bids on eBay, this K2 sold for $4,801. Normally, a 350 from Morini makes people think of the 3 1/2, but the Italian firm released the Moto Morini 350 K2 a decade later.
Resto Needed – 1971 BSA Victor Trail B50T
The last large unit-construction single from Birmingham Small Arms, the BSA Victor Trail was specifically designed for the US, which was experiencing a surge in the popularity of trail riding. BSA took parts that they were using in the Street Scrambler and Moto Cross versions of the B50T to create the Victor Trail.
Limited Edition – 1995 Triumph Daytona Super III
Post Listing Update: This Super III did not meet reserve with bidding up to $4,050. It was relisted and then pulled off of eBay. The Triumph Daytona Super III was a limited edition of the under-appreciated Daytona 900. Just 805 were sold worldwide and they featured engine work by Cosworth.
