Post-Sale Update: This Yamaha RX50 did not meet reserve at $510. In the 80s, Japanese manufacturers produced several 50cc bikes – though nearly all were in plastics that were reminiscent of sportbikes. Examples previously featured on Bike-urious include the Honda NS50F and Suzuki GSXR50, though the Yamaha YSR50 was one of the most well-known. This bike, the Yamaha RX50, was …

1990 Honda NS50F
Post Sale Update: After being relisted twice, this Honda NSF50F sold on eBay for $2,025. For the second time in as many days, we’re featuring a 49cc Honda street-legal motorcycle. We love these little bikes. The Honda NS50F, like the MB5 featured yesterday, is an incredibly rare bike sold only for one year.
1982 Honda MB5
Post Sale Update: Unfortunately, this Honda MB5 was pulled early from the eBay auction. The Honda MB5 was only imported to the United States for one year, and it did not leave a lasting impression. However, we at Bike-urious are huge suckers for little bikes, and this one deserves to be featured.
2000 Yamaha Razz
Okay, a Yamaha Razz is not the usual quality of bike you should expect to see on this website. It’s a 49cc scooter that looks like it was built in the early 80s. But don’t worry about that. Just enjoy this ad, brought to us by Craigslist Seattle: Well done, Kyle. You definitely had the Bike-urious staff chuckling.

Top of the Line – 1966 Honda S90
The Honda S90 is a staff favorite here at Bike-urious – we’ve got a ’68 in our personal garage. Also known as the Sport 90, this Honda was based on the Super Cub, another 90cc engine bike that was much more popular. Those 90cc pumped out 8 horsepower, allowing for a top speed of up to 65mph when piloted by …
1983 Honda Gyro S
Here’s something you don’t see everyday…a Honda Gyro Scooter. Like the new Piaggio MP3, this is a tilting three wheel scooter, except in this case, the two wheels are in the back. Check out this video from an owner unrelated to the seller: GYRO, an acronym for “Great Your Recreation Original”, was sold in America for only 3 years. It …

1965 Benelli 200 Sprite
Sold for a whopping $629 when new, the little Benelli 200 Sprite was not very popular, and as such, you don’t see much information about them nowadays. With that said, they were to be the Italian answer to Honda. This 200cc was one of the larger engines Benelli made in the 60s, and featured refinements like “extra heavy cables”. That’s …

Mini Gixxer – 1987 Suzuki GSX-R50
In the late 80s, Japanese manufacturers made a series of mini-bikes. While the Yamaha YSR50 and Honda NSR50 are probably some of the most common, the Suzuki GSXR-50 was one of the best looking, due to the full fairings and 4 interesting graphics packages available. The little gixxer was only made for 2 years, which means it’s one of the …
