Built between 1973 and 1975, the Z90 was one of a series of small Harleys built by Aermacchi in the 70s. The bike may actually be best known as the ride of Kelly Leak (played by Jackie Earle Haley) in the Bad News Bears. Here’s a low mileage example from the first year of production.
The 90cc tw-stroke was paired with a 4-speed transmission, Dell’Orto concentric carb, and 2.4 gallon gas tank. Harley advertised this as “your invitation to on/off road adventure…for exploring the country anywhere!”
This example (VIN: 74MC750953D17555H3) has just 511 miles and two previous owners. The seller says that everything works and it “runs excellently” with the original paint, Pirelli tires, air cleaner, and more. The only non-original part appears to be the new battery. The sale includes framed vintage advertisements, a dealer brochure, and the original owner’s manual.
