In Germany – 1928 Bohmerland Touren 600

In Touring by Abhi3 Comments

Post-Listing Update: This Bohmerland did not meet reserve, with just one bid at the opening amount of $100,000.

Bohmerland was a Czechoslovakian firm that built bikes between ’24 and ’39. All of their bikes were of one ‘model’, but with wheelbase options from a 2 seat “Sport” model to the 4 seater “Lang Touren” (Long Touring). This is the option that Goldilocks would pick, the 3 seater “Touren”.

Thanks to the Aero sidecar, this rig will actually seat 4 people. The 16 horsepower, 600cc single was used for all wheelbase lengths – this Touren was 8 feet long but the Lang Touren was 10.5, making it the longest motorcycle ever. Note the leading link forks, rear fuel tanks, and the wonderful design of the aluminum wheels:

The seller of this rig says that everything works as it should and that it has won several Best in Show awards, so find this Bohmerland for sale in Wiesbaden, Germany with an unmet opening bid of $100,000
