I know I’ve been posting less frequently than usual as of late, and for that I apologize. But I promise that there’s been a good reason! For years, many of you have been asking me to offer motorcycle auction services, and I’m excited to announce that the day has finally come.
To help make this a reality, I’ve partnered with the awesome team over at Iconic Motorbikes (pictured above). They have an incredible collection of machines (some of which we’ll be selling through the auction), but more importantly they’ve got a great group of people that are passionate about bikes. They’re used to buying and selling interesting motorcycles, and their shop in Marina del Rey, California gives us all a physical location you can come visit so that we’re more than just a collection of 0s and 1s on the Internet.
Click here to check out the new auction site if you want to get familiar with it beforehand. Our first three bikes will go live on Saturday at noon!
There’s always odd little issues when something new like this starts (and if you’ve been reading for a while, you know that I’m not perfect). But we’re all dedicated to make things right, so if you have any questions or see something weird, let me know and I’ll do my absolute best to take care of it!
I should note that Bike-urious won’t change, now there’s just a new interesting source for me to show you cool bikes on (and we’ll be able to accurately keep track of sale values). I’ll still feature interesting machines, share travel stories, review bikes/gear, and generally be a goofball here.
As always, thanks so much for your support. I can’t express how much I’ve enjoyed getting involved with motorcycles through this site and meeting all of you. Here’s to more fun with cool motorcycles!
