Post Listing Update: This custom Pursang was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.
The Pursang has been done up as a replica of the Bultaco 250 that Jim Pomeroy won the 1973 Spanish GP with.
The seller does an excellent job detailing the work that’s been done to this bike (especially in terms of what’s been done to specifically emulate Jim’s bike) so I highly recommend you check out the listing. Highlights of the work include a detabbed frame, rebuilt numbers matching motor, repainted bodywork, custom replica exhaust, Akront wheels with Buchanan SS spokes, and more.
In the seller’s words, “I did my best to replicate the look of his “26” bike based on the few pictures I could find. From the mismatched rims, air box cover tabs that protruded from under his seat and bolted to the rear side plate screw, the drilled chain adjusters and overall physical and cosmetic layout of his bike. I started with the MK7 Pursang because of the chrome moly frame and the correct rear hub that he used on his bike, which were both pre-production at that time. The donor bike has matching frame and motor numbers 120-02121. Jim turned 21 in 1973, the year he won the Spanish GP.”
