Post Listing Update: This XR did not meet reserve despite 33 bids up to $14,501 on eBay in Savannah, Georgia.

Per the seller, the only used parts on this recent XR750 build are the heads, crankcases, and frame. Everything else is new!

This bike utilizes a 1989 frame but a 1991 motor and it’s titled as the former even though the seller goes with the latter. Said motor was built by Darcy Racing Specialties, and it was stuffed into a J&M monoshock frame that was re-plated. The long list of parts includes a Bill Werner-designed Supertrapp exhaust, Weiss Racing pegs and clutch actuator, supermoto-style wheels with Sun rims, Buchanan spokes, and Talon hubs, Brembo master cylinders and calipers front and rear, Brembo front rotor, ATK rear rotor, Buell Lightning (Showa) suspension, Harley Sportster headlight, Trail Tech Vapor speedometer, Saddleman seat, hidden rechargeable battery, and more. It is not currently registered, but it is titled and is street legal in Georgia.

The seller states that it starts and runs but it has zero miles. It “cranks using a remote starter inserted into the socket type receptacle in the primary cover, typical of many flat trackers” and “comes with starter in a Harley Davidson backpack.” Find this XR for sale in Savannah, Georgia with bidding up to $13,650 and the reserve not yet met here on eBay. Confusingly, this bike is also listed at the upcoming Mecum auction in January with no reserve, so I assume Mecum won’t be particularly happen if it sells in a few days on eBay…
