Phillipe Starck is a well-known French product designer and motorcycle enthusiast. In the mid 90’s, he combined those two facets to design the Aprilia Moto 6.5, an in-town runabout that oozes style – the question is, is the kind of style you like?

Aprilia Moto 6.5 - Tank

Visordown summed this bike up better than I ever could:

Pros: Exclusivity. You will never, ever, see another on the road.
Cons: There is a reason you won’t see any on the road, they are crap.

If you’re looking for exclusivity, it’d be tough to top this. Never officially brought to the US, this bike features a 649cc engine that produces 42 horsepower. To oversimplify, you could consider it to be a BMW F650/Aprilia Pegaso without any dual-sporting pretensions. Pleasantly, weight was low at just 330 pounds.

Aprilia Moto 6.5 - Gauges

This specific Aprilia Moto 6.5 has just 236 miles, and not much else of a story. I’d love to know why it has so few miles, and how it got to the states, questions the seller hopefully has answers for.
