This TT1 was a former privateer racer which has had some work done with parts that are basically unobtainum today – Verlicchi frame + swingarm, Campagnolo magnesium wheels, 41mm Malossi carbs – the list goes on. The 750cc engine (which was the main difference between the TT2 and the TT1) has been tuned by Lenci Racing and the bike looks …
Koustom Motorcyles – 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Custom
Recently built by Koustom Motorcycles in Prague, this custom scrambler build is based on a Moto Guzzi V7 and just placed 4th in the Scrambler category at the Bohemian Custom Bike show. Not much to say about it – you’ll either like the way it looks or you won’t. Or, you’ll argue that this bike makes no sense as a …
Video Intermission – The Tough One 2015
Every year, an impressively difficult enduro race called “The Tough One” takes over rural England. It’s currently sponsored by Red Bull, which means there’s a well-produced video to accompany the event – enjoy this recap:
1969 BSA Cheney Victor 500
Post Sale Update: After 20 bids on eBay, this Cheney Victor sold for $8,801.11. Here’s a BSA Victor 500cc that’s been reworked by Cheney Racing and then later restored an unknown time ago. It looks good and everything works, though the seller notes that it takes a ‘healthy kick to start’.
Needs Some Work – 1968 BSA Lightning Cafe Racer
Post-Sale Update: This BSA cafe racer sold for $3,181 after 15 bids on eBay. Here’s an interesting take on a BSA Lightning custom – only problem is you’ll need to do some work before it’ll be ready to go. It seems like the owner may have been sold a bike that was mis-represented, and he’s understandably not willing to sort …

1955 Indian Fire Arrow
One of the few Royal Enfields that were rebadged as Indians in the 50s, the Fire Arrow was a 248cc single that was the twin of the Enfield Clipper, a budget bike. The rebadge job consisted of a paint job and the Indian Warbonnet on the front fender. For a little more information on the Fire Arrow, check out this …
New in Crate – 2 1986 Honda Z50 Christmas Specials
Post-Sale Update: Incredibly (at least to me) these Z50s sold for $42,500 after 43 bids on eBay! In December 1986, Honda gave each of their top two retailers in the US a limited edition of the Z50 mini trails. It was called the Z50RDG – the D stood for Dealer, and I can’t figure out what the G signified. Some …
1966 BSA A65 Lightning
This beautiful lightning has just 2,500 miles over two owners and was just restored from the ground up over the last 3 years. Thousands of dollars worth of receipts are shown in the pictures/included in the sale, hopefully adding to your assurances that this bike will be a reliable mount for your enjoyment. While the mechanical aspects were rebuilt, the …
In Italy – 1987 Ducati 750 F1 Laguna Seca
Built as a tribute to Marco Lucchinelli’s success at the 1986 Battle of the Twins race at Laguna Seca, this limited edition of the 750 F1 features a decal of Marco’s signature on the tank. It’s nearly the same as the Montjuich, except for little changes like different cylinder heads, the plastic rear fender, some changes to the clutch mechanism, …
Bike Review – 900 Miles with the Honda NM4
I’ll say it…I think this bike is gorgeous. With that said, despite 3 weeks and 900 miles with the Honda NM4, I’m still not sure what I think of it.
The Customs of 2WheelsMiklos
Based out of Guildford, England, 2WheelsMiklos has created some crazy customs based on 30-ish year old BMWs. Click here to check out all 4 that are currently available, though I’m only going to highlight 2 in this post.
1973 AMF Harley-Davidson Snowmobile
Right before AMF acquired Harley-Davidson, they entered the snowmobile market under the Ski-Daddler name. Once they had HD’s name, they decided to drop Ski-Daddler for the Harley name, which of course resonated much more with consumers. It didn’t really matter what the name was, though – after 7 years the snowmobile was discontinued.
Abigail – 1975 Honda CB500T
Built by Hot Sake Cycles, a one man shop run by biology teacher Shannon Hulcher, this Honda CB500T has been turned into a cafe racer named Abigail. It recently placed first at the Rat’s Hole Bike Show in Daytona, and has been used in multiple publications and an Allegra commercial.
