Here’s a quick look at the coolest bikes I saw on a quick Sunday ride out to the Rock Store! If you’re in the area this Sunday and want to join, I’ll be riding out to Wrightwood…
Before we hit the road, there was a quick stop at a local coffee shop.
You’ve seen plenty of photos of my Tesi already so I’ll just leave it at this:

My friend Matt was on his new Panigale V4 S. The performance is incredible but I don’t like the way that the wings look at all.

I’ve been all about the Z900RS this week, with a featured one for sale and a cool custom that had a Doremi kit designed to look like a GPz.

My buddy Eric joined us on his 1995 BMW R100 Mystic (last year of the airhead) that he’s customized to look like an older model.

I didn’t spend much time at the first stop as I don’t drink coffee, so I led a few of us on a quick ride out to the Rock Store.
This ZRX is owned by a client of ours – we just did a service including new tires for him last week.

I enjoyed the Yamaha R9 when I got to ride it as part of the press launch, but Yamaha has been having serious issues getting inventory to the US. Here’s a rare example that’s made it here.

I like the way that the Rune is styled, but it is definitely an overwhelming bike to ride.

I really like the rear wheel/fender area from a styling standpoint.

The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in the wild, it’s the first one I’ve seen in person.

This beauty belongs to Michael Jeffries, one of the guys I raced against at Willow Springs (on different R75s, obviously).

That’s right – there were two Vincents out that day!

The Rock Store has history but the food/drinks aren’t very good. Down the street is the Old Place – the weekend visitors are more car-focused but the food and beverages are much better!
One interesting car was the new Lotus Emira. It’s supposed to be Lotus’ last car with an internal combustion engine (in this case, a supercharged Toyota 3.5L V6).

This K1 had just been restored, if I remember correctly it was the first time the bike had been on the road in 2+ years.

I saw my buddy George on one of Iconic’s rental bikes going by later in the day.

And we’ll end things with this cool Ducati Pantah 600 that unfortunately had a flat rear tire which needed to get plugged. I unfortunately didn’t have the necessary tools on me so I hope the owner was able to get what he needed quickly…
