Go Anywhere – 1942 Zundapp KS750 Sidecar

Post-Listing Update: Despite 18 bids up to $30,100, this Zundapp KS750 Sidecar did not meet reserve on eBay.

The Zundapp KS750 was built for the Wehrmacht to go anywhere. Thanks to cylinders that were angled up 5 degrees for additional ground clearance, as well as a 10 speed gearbox, the claim was almost possible.

Zundapp KS750 - Rear

The basic stats are simple – the 751cc twin produced about 26 horsepower, but top speed was just 60 miles per hour thanks to a transmission geared to ensure a rider could crawl up the steepest of hills. And frankly, who’s going faster than 60 off-road with a bike that weighs 926 pounds, thanks to the sidecar? Zundapp KS750 - Engine

This specific Zundapp KS750 was imported from Moldava in horrible condition a decade ago, and was then completely restored (with all receipts). The seller goes in detail about all the parts that were restored or replaced, and it’s clear a lot of work went into this rig.
