Bob Kelly recently sent me a few photos of his buddy Steve, who clearly had some adventures in the 60s on his Honda CB77 Superhawk. Read on for a short reminder of what riding used to be like.

Per Bob, “I love old Honda CB77 Super Hawks and vintage photos that captures a specific time in history. A friend Steve has shared pictures of adventures he has had on the early Honda Super Hawks. The images are from 1962 through 1965.

Cartoon. The bike is not a Super Hawk.

Flying Hawk?

This picture looks just like a scene straight out of the book, “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance“ ; if you recall Robert Pirsig rode a Super Hawk and his riding buddy piloted a BMW.
