Post Sale Update: Beastie sold for $25,000 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Marina del Rey, California.

Ending soon on the auction site is another bike that I’m ecstatic to share – the 2018 and 2019 Pikes Peak racer of Michael Woolaway, the Design Director of Deus Ex Machina’s US shop in Venice, California.

He built “Beastie” out of a Ducati Hypermotard SP for the 2018 running in the Exhibition Class, and his main takeaway from the experience was “how tight the Pikes Peak course was”. That led to a complete revamp of his racebike – for 2019, all that he kept from the 2018 bike was the electronics, front wheel, front number plate, and seat. It now makes over 180 horsepower at the rear wheel and weighs just 340 pounds wet.

Find Beastie for sale in Santa Monica, California with bidding up to $25,000 and the reserve not yet met here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
