Custom Bodywork – 1979 Honda CX500

Called the “Cachet Racer”, this custom Honda CX500 is the work of Nemo Gould – a “master accumulator” who calls himself “Chairman of the Hoard”. Impressively, the bodywork is all hand-formed from flat sheets of aluminum.

It started as a non-running ’79 CX that was donated, and Nemo started by stripping off all of the bodywork and plastic. Once he came up with the bodywork he made it a runner, noting that all “mechanical components were all refurbished, repaired, repainted, or replaced depending on their individual need.” It’s unclear how long he’s had the bike, though it currently “needs a new o-ring to address a tiny coolant leak.”

Find this custom CX for sale in Oakland, California for $3,500 or best offer here on Facebook. Nemo has more photos on the for sale listing on his site, which lists an asking price of $6,000.
