At first glance, this looks like a Yamaha R6 in the 50th Anniversary livery. But a closer look reveals the unmistakable quad exhaust of Yamaha’s legendary GP tribute, the RZ500. Here’s your chance to enjoy classic two-stroke power delivery with modern styling, suspension and brakes!
The main frame and motor are from a first-year RZ500, though a custom rear subframe has been paired with several parts from a 2009 Yamaha R6: the radiator, upper fairing bracket, swingarm, front suspension, wheels, tail section, and seat. Other RZ500 parts include the rear shock and the fuel tank, the latter of which has been painted to match the black/yellow livery of the 50th Anniversary Yamaha R6 and modified so that the fuel filler cap is flush with the top. The bike has a Koso gauge and it is titled in Pennsylvania.
