Post Listing Update: Bidding got up to $6,001.98 before this Wasp was pulled off of eBay.

Previously raced by Bobby Winters, this is a BSA Wasp drivetrain in a Ken Swanson dirt track frame. It has since been ‘completely rebuilt using NOS parts’ and is in display mode – if you want to ride it again, you’ll be breaking in the motor has it hasn’t even seen oil since the work was done.

That’s a little concerning, as it feels like you’re being left to sort out any finale issues from the rebuild, though there are surely some buyers that are just interested in this as a display piece. Either way, the bike has a Spitfire tank (BSA Gold Star Scrambler tank can be included) and there’s new parts all over the place – several engine internals, Boyer ignition, tires, aluminum wheels with stainless steel spokes, seat, cables, fork tubes, and the paint job. It’s claimed to have rebuilt Amal carbs and a 14v battery. The seller will include “full rebuild pictures and race history.”
