1000cc Custom – 1972 BMW R75/5

In Custom, Germany by AbhiLeave a Comment

After sitting outside and uncovered in the hills of Carmel Valley for 25 years, this BMW 75/5 SWB was discovered by the fine folks at Moto Talbott. They spent over a year bringing this BMW back to life, and now they’re letting it go.

The restoration work included a swap to Siebenrock 1,000cc high compression pistons, 34mm Mikuni carbs, new rod bearings, new valves, a new clutch, custom stainless steel high pipes, enduro handlebars, solo cop seat, upgraded rear shocks, polished wheels with Buchanan stainless steel spokes, BSA headlight bucket with Smiths speedometer and clock, bar end LED turn signals, new rubber pieces throughout, and a new paint job: Porsche Mint Green with Mini Cooper Vanilla White accents.

Just 250 miles have been put on this bike since the work was done, and now it can be yours. It’s available in Carmel Valley, California for $16,000 – contact me (abhi AT bike-urious DOT com) if you’d like to be put in touch with the seller!
