A seller in Michigan is offering two very rare Simson scooters, so I figured I’d combine them into one post.
First, we’ve got a 2002 Simson Star Classic 80 with just 15km on the odometer:
This little scoot spent the first 13 years of its life in storage, during which it never saw a battery or gasoline. Simson imported this bike (and the other one I’m featuring here) in a last ditch effort to start a US dealer network before they went bankrupt. It has a 4-speed transmission to complement the 80cc engine, and it’s capable of hitting 45 miles per hour.
