Starting with a stock bike, the owner had this RD turned into a tribute of Yamaha’s 1970s TZ racers. it’s street legal with a California plate but it gives off some classic racer vibes.
The engine was rebuilt with new pistons and rings, and it was then paired with Mikuni flatslide carbs and custom expansion chambers from Wicked Motorsports feeding Tyga silencers. There’s also a DG swingarm, TZ replica bodywork, Gustafsson Plastics windscreen, Veglia tach, Woodcraft clip-ons, DG air valves, and Renthal grips. The headlight ring is from a Mercedes G-series SUV.
It doesn’t sound bad, either!
