Unrestored – 1930 Triumph NSD with Gloria Sidecar

In 3 Wheels, England, Vintage by AbhiLeave a Comment

This beautiful vintage hack is claimed to be in ‘super usable condition’ and is impressively original for being 85 years old. It “starts well” and “sounds perfect” with no issues or smoke.

The 549cc NSD was the last vestige of what started as the Model P. This example has apparently been in regular use for the last 30/40 years, and the sales will include lots of history like programs from entered events – it won Best Machine over 50 years old at a 1984 show at the National Motorcycle Museum in the UK.

This is my favorite kind of motorcycle: well-worn on the outside but regularly used and mechanically in good shape. The seller says “it really would be a terrible shame to restore away this bikes character & history with a fresh paint – job”, and he/she is absolutely right.
