The Ducati 999 was a controversial motorcycle and was greeted by mixed reviews upon its being debuted with much of the fuss being over the 999’s appearance, in particular the headlight. Regardless of its aesthetics the V-twin powered triple-nine did achieve its fair share of success in the racing-world with back-to-back WSBK championships in 2003 and 2004 along with a Troy Bayliss’s 2006 WSBK-title. (Although they wouldn’t be crowned WSBK-champion in 2005, they would see a 999 piloted by the BSB-champ that year.)

The S model boasted an extra 3.1 ponies (138-141.1) over the base model in addition to sporting full-carbon bodywork, Öhlins fork, Marelli fuel injection, Brembo brakes and . On top of the factory upgrades this pristine example has full carbon BST wheels and tank, and a stainless-steel Fast by Ferracci exhaust. With just under 1,000 original miles and an owner who has taken fabulous care of this machine, this is a remarkably immaculate 999S.
