This weekend is the 35th Annual Bavarian Mountain Weekend Rally, hosted by the Land of Enchantment BMW Club of New Mexico. Foolishly, they asked me to be one of the speakers at this year’s rally, so I’m grabbing a F850GS test bike and heading out to Taos County. Will I see you there?
I’m sure one of the things I’ll talk about is BMW’s current lineup and my experiences with recent launches like the S1000RR at Barber Motorsports Park and the R1250GS in Palm Springs:
Sadly, Spurgeon won’t be with me.
I’m excited to get some touring miles on the 850GS – it’s about 1,000 miles each way but unfortunately I’ll have limited time to stray off the main roads. I look forward to seeing you there!
