Zero Miles – 1982 Suzuki GS650GT

In Japan, Standard by AbhiLeave a Comment

Post Listing Update: This GS650GT did not get any action at the BIN of $8,995.

Built between ’81-’83, the GS650 was available in several forms – including one with styling inspired by the Katana. The GT was the shaft driven standard which often did commuting duty in the 80s. Here’s an unexpected example which has never been ridden!

This example (VIN: JS1GP71G3C2101762) is as close to new as you’ll find, having “been stored in a temperature controlled environment since 1982.” The seller states that the bike has never seen oil or gas and that the only flaw is a small scratch on the tail.

The sale includes the original tool kit, owner’s manual, paperwork from Japan, and the MSO, which was assigned to Suzuki of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Illinois.

It seems this Suzuki may not have traveled too far over its life – find it for sale in Mooresville, Indiana with a BIN of $8,995 or best offer here on eBay.
