Post Listing Update: This Harley Dealer Award did not get any interest at the opening bid of $27,000 on eBay.

I’ve only seen one of these for sale before, and it was a project. My research the last time around revealed that this was a limited run of 55 bikes built as an award for dealers for success in 1982. This shovelhead displaces 1340cc, and it came in a lovely shade of “Candy Apple Rootbeer” that shines just right in sunlight.

It seems that the only upgrades for the Dealer Edition were cosmetic. Mechanically, this bike is just like the other 1983 FXSB Low Riders, with a V-Twin that pumped out 57 horsepower at 5,200 RPM that had to handle a whopping 637 pounds of motorcycle. With a 4-speed gearbox, this bike was capable of 96 miles per hour, and hitting 60 mph in 6.2 seconds.

With the exception of the exhaust, this example is said to be completely stock and still rocking the original Dunlop Qualifier tires. The odometer shows about 4,300 miles and it was “in a heated dealership for 30 years.” The seller does not state if it currently runs or not, but he adds that he has has “the chrome rectangle piece that goes around the reflector on the rear fender.”
