1947 Nimbus Model C with Sidecar

The photos aren’t great, but I can’t pass up the already rare Nimbus Model C when it’s paired with a sidecar! As a reminder, the 746cc inline four engine was capable of about 20 horsepower, good enough to get the 408 pound (dry) bike up to approximately 70 miles per hour. The Nimbus is legendarily reliable – even today some people use them as daily commuters. For more information, check out this profile from the Nimbus Club USA, who estimate that there are about 200-250 of these bikes in the US.

This example is claimed to run like a watch, and while the odometer shows 2,000 kilometers, the seller cannot verify that. Find this Nimbus with a hack for sale here on Craigslist for $16,000 in Agawam, Massachusetts.
