Before the V-Twin, even before the Desmodromic heads, Ducati had a line of Overhead Valve single cylinder, 4 stroke motorcycles. 1965 was the first year for the 350 Sebring, named for a class win by the factory at Sebring Raceway. By 1968 Ducati had introduced their Desmo heads and the rest is history.

The ‘66 Sebring 340cc engine put 20 HP through a 5 speed transmission for very good performance in class. Brakes were expanding shoes, and the frame and handling was considered excellent by the reviewing press.

This particular Ducati Sebring is located in Virginia, and is being sold to settle an estate. It has apparently been a restoration project for quite some time as it said to have been repainted, engine rebuilt, new battery and tires. Asking price is $5,500, and you can see all the information here on Cycle Trader. I can tell you for a fact that the bike is missing the RH battery cover and it looks like the marquee plates on both sides of the tank may be less than complete which probably means it is priced too high.
