1968 Moto Morini Corsaro

In Italy, Less than 5k, Standard by AbhiLeave a Comment

In 1959, Moto Morini introduced the Corsaro (Italian for Pirate), a 125cc sportster that produced 7.5 horsepower.

Morini offered several motorcycles based on the 125cc Corsaro platform: the Veloce Competition, Veloce Sport Lusso, Veloce Super Sport, Veloce Country, and the Veloce Regolarita. In 1964, the model line got a displacement bump to 150. Nowadays the name will live on in an upcoming sporbike model, though it’s unclear if we will see it in the US alongside Moto Morini’s other current offerings.

The seller notes that this came from the Owls Head Transportation Museum, adding that the carbs were just cleaned, it has a new battery, and it “starts right up.” Impressively, it’s the seller’s first bike (what a choice for a first bike!) and he’s understandably looking for something more modern.
