1969 Moto Morini Corsarino 48

In Italy, Less than 5k, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

The Moto Morini Corsarino was sold between 1963 and 1977 in Sport, Touring, and the Scrambler version seen here. The adorable name translates to “Little Pirate,” (arguably, a little Corsican pirate) which explains the logo on the sidecover.

By ’67, the Corsarino featured a 49cc engine and a 4-speed transmission. Morini claimed that it made 4.5 horsepower and was capable of 50 miles per hour. The seller of this example doesn’t say much in his listing beyond the bike being “restored professionally” and how it was privately imported and needs nothing but he does have a video showing the bike off in more detail. I just wish we got to hear it start up!
