The Suzuki AS50 was a tiddler with an interesting flat-bottom headlight. When reviewed by Motorcycle Mechanics, the tester got an impressive 114 miles per gallon!

Suzuki AS50 - Front Right

Suzuki said this bike was capable of 59 miles per hour thanks to 4.9 horsepower (at that point, why not just call it 5?). It was a two-stroker with rotary valves with a 5-speed transmission – the bike weighed just 165 pounds. The next year this bike was called the AC50 – Motorcycle Classics has a great write-up on the latter.

Suzuki AS50 - Gauges

This specific Suzuki AS50 Maverick is in ‘good working order’ and has just 1,900 miles. It comes with both original keys and has just been started after over 20 years of storage. Though it does run well, the seller notes it should get a carb rebuild. Other flaws include some dings in the metal, cracked tail light, and scratches in the tank.
