Post Listing Update: This V7 Sport did not meet reserve despite 18 bids up to $12,099.

My favorite Guzzi in my favorite paint scheme – this bike can’t go wrong! Built specifically by Lino Tonti to honor Guzzi’s racing legacy, the V7 Sport is considered by some to be the prettiest production cafe to come out of any factory.

Moto Guzzi V7 Sport - Rear Left

As a ’73, this is one of the last V7s to come with a front drum brake – Guzzi put a disc on the front starting in 1974. The seller says this bike (VIN: 033540), which has 42,000 miles, is very stock except for K&N air filters in place of the original air box. The seller has had it for 14 years and he/she says it has never given him a mechanical issue. There’s some chrome pitting and the tank was starting to rust so it was POR-15 treated, but it looks good. The two main problems are the 10 year old tires and the missing key for the side boxes (you’ll need to open them with a screwdriver), but this seems like a solid example of a great bike – check out the ‘shark-gill’ Silentium mufflers!
