Post Sale Update: This CNW Commando sold for $18,999 after 7 bids on eBay.

In the world of Norton Commandos, there’s very few modern legends that owners will trust to hop-up their bikes. Kenny Dreer and his VR880 is high up there, as is the firm of Colorado Norton Works, one of the best restorers out there. Here’s your chance to get one of their jewels.

Colorado Norton Works Commando - Cockpit

If you want a new build from Colorado Norton Works, you’re looking at about $30k plus the donor bike and at least a year wait! So if you like the way this one looks, I guess it’s your chance to cut the line. For more on CNW, check out this article from Motorcycle Classics. EDIT: I just realized that the bike in this article is actually the bike for sale. How about that?

Colorado Norton Works Commando - Left Side

This specific Colorado Norton Works Commando is #55 with 1,683 miles put on since the rebuild. It’s won several shows, including a Best of Show in the 2014 Oley Norton Concours. As expected from a CNW build, it has plenty of extras. What you can’t take for granted from a CNW build is that in this case, the cosmetics haven’t been altered that much, which I greatly appreciate.
