Post Sale Update: This F1A sold for $11,800 after 41 bids on eBay in Lancaster, Massachusetts.
Ducati’s last stand before being sold to the Castiglioni brothers, the 750F1A featured hand made aluminum tanks, floating rotors, and other features designed to make it a race bike for the street. Raw and uncompromising, it was slightly down on power but an excellent handler – and there aren’t many other bikes like it.
This example (VIN: ZDM750R7500508) has 7,493 kilometers (4,655 miles) on the odometer. It was just serviced with belts, valve check, fluid flush, new tires, and a “paint refresh.” The seller notes a small dent in the left side of the aluminum tank. He is the third owner and has had it since 2002, he also has all of the ownership and service history.
